This colorful gin bottle is a design by French ceramist Roger Capron. It dates from the mid 50s and is produced in the designers own pottery. At the age of 24 Capron took over an abandoned pottery studio in Vallauris, France. He worked there with ceramists Robert Picault and Jean Derval. His ceramic workshop, known as l`Atelier Callis, contributed to the renaissance of ceramics in Vallauris. This gin bottle is one of aprons first designs he produced in his studio. Its signed and in perfect condition.
