A set of Motel postcards from the 1950′s and 60′s, back in the days when a motel was a sophisticated place for mysterious encounters.

Daring color schemes contrast warm wood paneling with cool blue; a homey, modern sitting area transforms a motel room into a living room; and simple wall-mounted lighting is a tasteful alternative to bulky bedside lamps. The pictures on these vintage postcards look like they were taken on a film set.
