This might not be your average City Furniture blogpost, but these pictures just made us smile and we can’t NOT share them with you. Life magazine visits the famous Pink Palace at 10100 Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills where Jayne Mansfield – actress, singer, sex symbol of the 50′s and early 60′s – lived with husband Mickey Hargitay, body builder and contractor. If Barbie were alive, she’d live in this house: most of the rooms are pink with hints of black, purple and gold. But the most famous room in this house must be the bathroom. With its pink rug and fluffy walls you could just dry off by wiggling against the wall. It surely must have been a fun house to grow up in for their five kids! The heart-shaped pool in the garden is the cherry on this pink, happy cake.
