Designer, artist and architect Ettore Sottsass is one of the most revolutionary designers from the midcentury design period. He opened his own design studio for architecture and design in 1947. During the late 60s and early 70s, Sottsass played an important role in avant-garde culture, later on in the 80s he would found the Memphis group. This Lamp is designed in 1968 and manufactured by Francesconi for Design Centre Italy, and distributed by Poltronova, Italy. The lamp is made in a pink methacrylate, fluorescent tube, painted aluminum and chrome-plated metal. Stunning item that literally lights up your interior.
