1950s Atomic Coat Stand

A rare and hard to find tipi shaped coat / hat and shoe stand. I only did find these in Belgium. Because of its playful shapes and color, it always reminds me on the work of painter Joan Miro. The coat stand has a red painted iron cast with 11 colored brass balls in green and white. The only reference of this hard to find coat stand is found in the book Les Interieurs 50. It was the first book about midcentury and 50s design written in Belgium. Although this book is quite well described and illustrated, no one could find out who made this tipi coat stand.
