Rosewood Dining Chairs by Arne Vodder for Sibast, 1960s

Fine set of Danish modern dining chairs designed by Arne Vodder in 1964 for Sibast Mobelfabrik. Vodder was recognized as one of the most important Danish architects of the 20th century . He was especially known for his special characteristic and organic designs with no sharp edges and a timeless feel. This set of dining chairs is made out of solid rosewood and black leather seats. Each chair has 7 spindles that are acting very effectively to cradle the sitter comfortably without losing the sharp angularity. A matching dining can be also found on the website. The chairs are in an excellent condition and are found in the same interior as the V11 sofa from Illum Wikkelso, where the owners took good care of the items.
