Nordisk Solar hanging lamp

Danish lighting manufacturer Nordisk Solar was founded in 1919 by Jacob L. Jørgensen and Herluf Sørensen and is well known for its mid-century modern pendants and layered lighting designs. This P 267 lamp was designed by Sven Middelboe for Nordisk Solar in the mid fifties. It has a metal white lacquered shade finished with brass and wood. This lamp is a reflection of the ultra refined Danish design aesthetics of the midcentury period. The lamp stands in its original and good condition.
