Jules Wabbes bookcase 1965

Jules Wabbes is one of the most important Belgian furniture designers from the post-war period. He is best known for his office furniture where he decorated office spaces such as Glaverbel, Royal Belge and Foncolin, but he also made lamps, school furniture, and complete private interiors. His work is durable and subdued and is characterized by sensual use of materials. This bookcase dates from 1965. Its laminated with a cream colored Formica and detailed with walnut wood and metal feet. A playful yet sturdy add to your interior.
