Willy Van Der Meeren Exposition @ Brussels Atomium
More than 200 square meters of Van der Meerens’ exposed furniture can
be viewed at Brussels Expo Atomium.
The opening was very crowded with people who all came for the same
reason, to view the work of a builder. The organisation behind the exhibition
delivered hard work and after all these months the result is there.
When you walk through the different areas, you will
find a playful composition of Van der Meerens’ furniture and
lighting. The opening was combined with a speech
of Mil de Kooning, who has spend already many years of detailed research on his work.
Thierry Belenger and Michael Marcy are also a part of the exposition with
their unique private collection of Van der Meeren's work.
All this can be seen in Belgium, Brussels, Atomium till 30.03.2008
