This set of high end tables was designed by Tobia Scarpa for Cassina in the 60s. The travertine tabletop rests in a rosewood frame and has a nice graphical pattern which makes me refer to the work of the designer his father Carlo Scarpa. The architect often worked with robust materials as concrete, brass and travertine , and had a great eye for geometry. The set of tables is a perfect example of modern Italian design and can be used as coffee -, or end tables. The tables are hard to find as a set.
