Paul Vermeire Ceramic

Paul Vermeire was a Belgian artist who lived and worked in Ostend. His oeuvre exists out of ceramics, paintings and drawings. He experimented with differed materials and techniques. Close after his graduation, he assisted René Magritte with the with the realization of his mural in the Casino in Knokke. Vermeires work shows a big expression. This Ceramic wall hung dates from the mid sixties and is very figurative in soft blue and bright red color tones.
