Jules Wabbes is one of the most important Belgian furniture designers from the post-war period. He is best known for his office furniture where he decorated office spaces with such as Glaverbel, Royal Belge and Foncolin, but he also made lamps, school furniture, and complete private interiors. His work is durable and subdued and is characterized by sensual use of materials. His oeuvre develops his own line that is the opposite to the playful and swinging of many other furniture designs from the 1950s and 1960s. This corner desk exist out of one bigger and one smaller desk. You can use them as two separated items as well. It dates from the 60s and contain in an excellent condition.
