Marcello Cuneo for Gabianelli Longobarda ceramic lamp

Marcello Cuneo worked for 8 years with the famous Gio Ponti. Since the 1960s, architect Cuneo has been a pioneer of the Italian interior and industrial design that has become so well known all over the world as a synonym of high quality design. This Longobarda table lamp dates from 1966 and was the first ceramic lamp cast in one piece. It was exhibited at New Yorks Museum of Modern Art during the : ´Italy, new domestic landscape exhibition´ and at ´ Introduction to design´ at the Israel Museum of Jerusalem.
