Abstract painting by belgian artist, poet and journalist Jean Pierre Lowie. He studied art and design at the Belgian Institute for textile and plastics in Ghent. His work shows an abstract design, he evolved from expressionism to more sober, philosophically oriented work. Jean Pierre Lowie won the city prize for painting in Knokke 1969. This work, titled Simultaan Environnement nr 13, is signed and dated 1974.
