Ballerina Chairs By Herbert Ohl For Matteo Grassi

Designer Herbert Ohl studied architecture under the supervision of designer Egon Eiermann. Until the end of the 1960s, he worked as a free-lance architect and designer in Ulm where he was Rector of the Academy of Design. Ohl designed the ballerina chair in 1991 for Matteo Grassi. The chairs have a black painted metal frame and green saddle leather coverings. They are suprisingly comfortable and are perfectly balanced. When you sit on the chair you will notice the chair follows your movements, like it is with you. The chairs contain traces of wear commensurate with wear and patina on leather.
