Modernist desk in the manner of Jacques Dumond, 1950s

Modernist desk designed in the 1950s - 60s. This unique desk is made out of a warm colored wooden with tempered glass legs and brass colored mounts. It has 2 drawers and a storage compartment for books or desk supplies. The glass legs give the desk a light and floating feel. This design reminds me of the work of French designer Jacques Dumond. Dumond was a pioneer in exploring new materials and techniques in his design. He inspired many other designers with his vision of modernity. The desk stands in a very good condition, no chips or cracks are noticed.
