Claudio Salocchiwas an Italian architect, industrial and interior designer. His modern and functional approach to design and architecture are often enriched by the use of contemporary art. In 1965 he founded his design shop, and in 1967 formalized what would be a prolific partnership with Sormani, for whom he went on and designed, this Appogio stool in 1971. The sculptural shaped stool has a black painted metal frame and a vermillion red seat which stand in its original condition. The stool is adjustable in height.
