1976 Hi-Plan Design Furniture Cabinet with Leather Doors

I recently discovered the manufacturer of these decorative cabinets and sideboards. They were designed by the Belgian company Hi-Plan Design, a company based near Bruges that were active in the seventies. This cabinet was featured in the 1976 catalog of the 5th Biennale 'Interieur Kortrijk 76'. These cabinets have a playful look with round form details on the corner edges and door handles. The leather whisky colored doors gained a beautiful patina through the years.
