1950s Writing desk with a book compartment

This elegant writing desk was manufactured by Everest in the 1950s. The desk has two white drawers and two black lacquered U shaped feet. It has an open space at the back to store books or desk supplies. Due its open back, the desk can easily be used as a two faced item and can acces as a centerpiece. It stands in a good condition and shows a nice patina gained through time.
