Set of six dining chairs designed by Jean Batenburg for MI, Belgium, in the 1970s. Produced for only a short time, they are now hard to find. The chairs have a strong, architectural look with a black lacquered plywooden frame and curved slats that also work as armrests. The cognac leather seat and backrest add warmth and contrast to the dark frame. A balanced and timeless design. All six chairs stand in their original condition with normal signs of use.
