Cesare Augusto Nava was an Italian designer primarily active in the 1970s. He founded Nava Arredamenti in Desio, for which he created iconic designs. His work is characterized by a futuristic style, geometric lines, and the use of materials such as lacquered wood, chromed metal, and fiberglass. Another key aspect of his designs is modularity, which he expresses in pieces such as bookcases, coffee tables, and armchairs. This dry bar coffee table dates from the 1970s. Each side has a different design and can be opened to reveal storage for glasses, books, or small items. The table is made out of a rich colored wood with aluminum details and handles. The combination is giving it a warm, elegant presence. It stands in a good condition with some traces of usage normal to it's age.
