1960s Hans Olsen rosewood black leather 4 seat sofa

Black leather and rosewood 4 seat sofa. Designed by prolific Danish designer Hans Olsen and manufactured by C/S Mobelfabrik in 1962. This is a great design because of its clean lines and overall sophisticated appearance. The arms have very unique flared "wings" at either end giving this piece a very distinct and unmistakable appearance. The leather is perfectly worn in and supple to the touch. There are no holes or repairs. They are goose down-filled, which is indicative of the overall quality of this exquisite sofa. It is extremely comfortable to sit in for long periods of time because of the ergonomic design and generous amounts of down filling. The cushions have their original brass zippers for easy cleaning if necessary. The legs are a beautiful solid Brazilian rosewood which diplays an incredible grain pattern.
