Roger Tallon is this rare and great cross-over between artist, designer and engineer. The general public mostly knows him for his watches. But it’s fascinating to see the hundreds of products Tallon and his team actually designed. From household products like furniture, tableware to portable televisions. The ergonomics, colours, lighting – and everything down to the route maps found in each highspeed train of the SNCF and TGV were designed by Tallon. With the couturier Michel Schreiber, he also designed new staff uniforms. As an artist he worked together with big names like Yves Klein, César Baldaccini, Arman. He also did the branding for Art Press. He’s a man of many worlds Tallon, one who influenced our daily life more than we realize.
